STAY
Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Agency has an incredible selection and is our go-to recommendation for friends and family in search of a stay, no matter the length. Alternatively, you can opt for one of two on-property hospitality concepts, The Pearl or Rosemary Beach Inn. Both are located steps from the beach off Western Green.
Bunny’s Cottage // A 5 bed, 4.5 bath main house with a 2-bedroom carriage house located on the North Side. Just a short walk to our favorite amenities (hint: Rosemary Beach Racquet Club), restaurants, and the beach. Insider Info: Bunny’s Cottage is receiving a refresh and will be hitting the market soon. Contact Ashlee Mitchell for more information.
Rosemary Beach Inn // An 11-room, European-style boutique hotel located on Main Street and Barrett Square. Just steps from the beach and over one of our favorite lunch spots, Summer Kitchen.
The Pearl // From the cocktail greeting at check-in and complimentary valet to the hand-delivered, freshly baked treat at bedtime, each moment is thoughtfully curated to feel like it was crafted especially for you.
DO
No longer a well-kept local secret, with lake-flat gulf waters and milder temperatures, Fall (Mid-September through Mid-November) is one of the most special times to visit the Emerald Coast. And while longtime visitors and locals will remember the sleepy days between holidays, Rosemary Beach and surrounding communities have ample activities and programming to offer throughout the autumn months. Here are our highlights…
Rosemary Beach Racquet Club // A love for tennis, and Rosemary Beach Racquet Club, runs deep for Clark & Mitchell. Whether you need a court, clinic, or private, book well in advance. Call (850) 278-2061 to reserve…
Rosemary Beach Uncorked // November 2nd, 2024 // Back for its 13th year to celebrate the very best of food and wine in Rosemary Beach.
EAT
From Sugar Shack to Summer Kitchen, Rosemary Beach boasts delicious classics for breakfast through dinner. Here’s a few favorites to narrow down your options…
Summer Kitchen // Family-owned since 1999, Summer Kitchen was the first restaurant and commercial business in Rosemary Beach. In other words, it’s a 30A institution that has evolved in step with Rosemary Beach. Longtime locals and visitors alike will remember its original location – a red and green sandwich shack on the South Side – and second location, which enjoyed several locations in Rosemary. Today, you’ll find it on Main Street right off the Western Green, still serving up No. 1’s & 2’s, now with fries. Local Insight: Both original buildings were preserved, carefully relocated, and reimagined as a local residence in Point Washington.
Gallion’s // Reservations Accepted; 18+ after 3:00 PM // Elevated yet approachable, Gallion’s is one of Rosemary’s newest culinary additions for lunch and dinner. Expect an impeccable wine list (500+ handpicked labels), inspired cocktails, and excellent coastal-inspired fare. Local Insight: Interiors were designed by local phenom Erika Powel of Urban Grace Interiors.
La Crema // Inspired by the tapas and chocolate shops of Madrid and Barcelona, La Crema serves up Spanish-style shared bites for lunch and dinner, plus can’t-miss desserts. This is a popular spot, so we recommend putting your name down for dinner early or swinging by for after dinner desserts. The chocolate fondue and fresh-baked cookies are musts.
The Sugar Shak // Delighting since 1999, Sugar Shak is a local institution. Opt for a post-beach snow cone or after dinner dessert of ice cream plus any candy you could imagine.
DRINK
From morning coffee (or tea) to something a little stiffer, local sips abound across town.
3rd Cup // Beat the Amavida or Charlie’s lines at the South Side coffee option, which serves up coffee, pastries, and drink service from their walk-up window starting 6:30 AM sharp. Local Insight: Located next to Huck & Harlow, it’s only fitting the coffee shop serves up Pup Cups.
Pescado // Reservations Accepted; 18+ after 2:00 PM // One of the best rooftop bars on 30A, Pescado serves up punchy cocktails with unbeatable views.
Cork & Barrel // Alternatively, stop into Cork & Barrel, the local wine & spirit purveyor, to outfit an on-the-go bar and enjoy happy hour on the beach. P.S. No glass on the beach!
SHOP
From beach provision to children’s clothing, menswear to interiors, Rosemary Beach’s merchants delight. Set aside a morning or afternoon to browse them all and preview them here.
Bombora Sun & Surf // The quintessential surf shop. Stop in to pick up everything from sunscreen to swimsuits, surf accessories to souvenirs.
The Hidden Lantern // Since 2011, The Hidden Lantern has supplied beach reads to Rosemary Beach guests. Whether you forgot yours or finished your last read quicker than expected, you’ll find something to pass the time.
Tidwell & Son // A menswear option with fan-favorite brands like Peter Millar, Smathers & Branson, Johnnie-O and more. Ideal for the guy who always forgets to pack something essential.
Pish Posh Patchouli’s // Another 30A icon beloved for their excellently curated collection of clean beauty, custom scent bar, and sumptuous loungewear. Stop in for sunscreen or to stock up on their locally-crafted products.
